Product Description
The Lisle Wheel Stud Installer easily installs wheel studs in seconds with the use of a ratchet, OR impact wrench. Simply center the tool over the stud, and tighten the lug nut over the top to pull the stud center into the hub.
NOTE: The Lisle stud installer utilizes a two piece assembly with a roller bearing in the center of the two sections to help center the stud in the hub. This bearing is under extreme forces when used and carries NO WARRANTY. It is recommended to use open end lug nuts when installing wheel studs to prevent the stud from bottoming out inside of the lug nut and causing damage to the stud or nut.

This makes the job of replacing your studs a lot less cumbersome and helped me shave some time off the install. You can do it direct to the hub or use the rotor, either way you'll have enough space in either factory or aftermarket lug nuts to get it done.

It works, but fell apart after 8 studs. Was able to complete the job, by loading it with Grease to stuck together.

Not a super necessary tool since you can sub for a stack of washers, but it's a tool that's hard to break so you'll have it if you or your bum friends need it in the future.

I have installed longer studs with the old "stack-o-washers" method and this is the best money you can spend on a specific use tool. I did use a sacrificial lug nut just in case, but there was zero scarring or damage to it. With the tapered seat, you can definitely use your existing (steel) lug nuts for installation. Even if I don't use it again, it was worth every penny just for how easy it made the process.

Worked as designed. Installed all 20 extended studs on my G37X.
The only issue is I didn't have a nut to use to pull the studs through. I only had the stock nuts which are closed and not deep enough. Had to add some washers under the tool. It would be nice if Z1 included one open lug nut to do the job.
