The FX1 racing seat features composite fiberglass technology. The FX1 combines comfort, performance, and safety at an absolutely unbeatable price. Designed with an emphasis on comfort; the result is one of the most comfortable race seats you will ever sit in.
The FX1 racing seat is available in either: cloth fabric with leatherette high-wear patches. High-wear patches are strategically placed to protect your seat from abrasion in the high-wear areas.
If you enjoy racing and want a practical and affordable shell seat, the FX1 is a hard one to pass on.
Highlights:
- Bolster Support: Bolsters provide excellent thigh, kidney, and shoulder support to ensure the occupant remains in the optimal seating position. The reduction of body shifting will reduce the amount of driver fatigue and enhance the overall driving experience.
- Seat Back Brace: This seat is equipped with a bolt on the back giving it the ability to be bolted to a seat back brace.
- Harness Capability: This seat has harness slots for 3, 4 and 5-point harness capability. A submarine slot is already installed for a 5th strap.
- Fabric: Anti-slip cloth materials and microsuede fabrics, coupled with anti-wear patches. Contains UV inhibitors. This seat has been extensively tested under extreme conditions and found to be colorfast.
- Aluminum Side Mounts: This seat can be bottom mounted or side mounted. Aluminum side mounts are available which allow the seat to be bolted right to the floor.
- Fiberglass Shell: Fiberglass composite shell with a black gel coat.

The FX1 Pro racing seat comes in three different sizes: the FX1 Pro, FX1, and FX1 Wide. As a rule of thumb, the FX1 Pro racing seat will fit up to a 36 inch waist, the FX1 will fit up to a 38 inch waist and the FX1 Wide (black only) will fit up to a 40 inch waist.
Z1 Motorsports sells all three sizes of the Corbeau Seats however the wide versions are only available in a limited choice of fabrics. Please see the available options below:
