Complete Nissan Frontier / Xterra Replacement Clutch Kit

Be mindful if you have a 2008 frontier with the tow package they come stock with stage 2 pressure plate.. The pressure plate offered in this kit is a stage 1!! The beats way I can describe. It's like putting a 1"ton clutch in a 2" ton truck so now my truck feels like a Honda civic not a truck clutch peddle is too light. Other than that the Install was very straightforward everything you needed parts wise was included..

This is my second purchase of the JWT clutch kit, the first time I ordered straight from JWT in California. Great pieced together kit from Z1, includes everything you need. However, the JWT clutch kit and pressure plate is just boxed from JWT. Therefore, the JWT kit comes with a pilot bushing and release bearing which also came in the Z1 kit… so now I have an extra release bearing and pilot bushing… always good to have a back up? Maybe. Try to piece this kit together as opposed to buying the whole thing. Rock auto has cheaper exedy clutches and pressure plates which is used in this kit. The main benefit is the lighter fly wheel which has been GREAT (thanks JWT) . You MUST properly bleed the system after install.

Works great! This is the 2nd time I’ve had to get a new clutch for a car (not for my Xterra) but when I got a new clutch for my matrix, it was so hard to drive. This experience was smooth and it still took some getting used to, but not as awful as the first time. Great purchase
